News on future releases coming soon...
All the news and information on Alone Again. Records releases, artists and shows.
We are very pleased to announce the Japanese release of Laura's album 'Radio Swan is Down'. Earlier this year the guys at the Warsawa indie record store in Tokyo began a new label called Happy Prince, their first release was from Irish based trio God Is An Astronaut. Laura's 'Radio Swan is Down' will be the second release for Happy Prince and it's out tomorrow!
The Japanese edition contains alternate cover art, a new track order plus the bonus track "We Should Keep This Secret". If you're quick the first 200 copies also include a bonus CDR which contains the videos for "Every Light", "I Hope", "We Should Keep This Secret" and "Hikikomori" plus the live version of "Radio Swan Is Down Part 1" taken from the brand new live album (Re)Capitulate.
The new live album (Re)Capitulate by Laura is OUT NOW.
Recorded earlier this year in Melbourne at the Hi Fi whilst on a national tour with Isis, (Re)Capitulate, is Laura's first live album.
"Recorded live at the HiFi Bar, Radio Swan has a crashing scope: violins, guitars and piano thundering against the back of a vast hall and folding back on themselves. The single from Laura's forthcoming live album has a haunted Gaelic air and a murderous edge, and confirms Laura as the rightful heirs to the Dirty Three and all their instrumental glory."
